Info
Labyr-Into is the free interpretation of the environmental work Entering the labyrinth, installed in the underground spaces of the former Riva-Calzoni building in via Solari 35 in Milan, formerly the Foundation’s exhibition venue. A 3D version of Pomodoro’s work, a work on the work, as well as inside the work.
The navigation and reconstruction of the environments and interactions have been realised by Oliver Pavicevic, starting with the 3D photometric scanning of the original environments. Sound has been created by Steve Piccolo, using holophonic technologies on sounds produced within the labyrinth.
Visitors are invited to immerse themselves in the virtual and interactive version of the Labyrinth in a VR multisensory experience, available in two versions based on two distinct technologies: Gear VR and HTC Vive.
The project, created by Oliver Pavicevic and Steve Piccolo, conceived and curated by Eugenio Alberti Schatz in collaboration with Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro, was made possible thanks to the contribution of TSS (The Secular Society, Virginia, USA).
