Even the Minotaur's home was a labyrinth. According to mythology, it was built by the great architect Daedalus at the request of the Cretan king Minos, to imprison this monstrous figure with the body of a man and the head of a bull.
The Athenian hero Theseus defeats the terrible beast with the help of his beloved Arianna and her thread, with which he manages to find the exit from the narrow labyrinth and free the Minotaur's prisoners.
A story as intricate as a labyrinth!
