After the experience of the exhibition space in Via Adda 15, Quinto Stampi (Rozzano), open to the public from 1999 to 2004, in 2005 the Foundation moved to Milan, at Via Solari 35, in a space that was part of the old Riva & Calzoni turbine factory and which has been renovated according to the design by architects Pierluigi Cerri and Alessandro Colombo.

Located in a part of the city that is unique for its concentration of activities related to the artistic and creative sectors, the space at Via Solari 35 has been configured as an exhibition space and art workshop. In addition to organizing exhibitions, it has also hosted lecture series, concerts, and other cultural events, and later – in 2007 – established its own Educational Section, with the aim of fostering dialogue with the public and providing an additional opportunity for exploring contemporary art for children, teenagers, and adults through workshops and guided tours.

Among the most memorable events that took place at the Museum in Via Solari 35 between 2005 and 2011, at least the major exhibitions dedicated to 20th-century Italian Sculpture and 21st-century Italian Sculpture should be remembered, along with the solo exhibitions of Jannis Kounellis and Magdalena Abakanowicz, the first two editions of the Arnaldo Pomodoro Sculpture Prize, as well as the concerts by Ennio Morricone and Lucio Dalla.

During this period, the Foundation has built and strengthened a lasting and fruitful relationship with UniCredit, based on a shared vision that supports innovation and creativity. UniCredit has recognized the international scope and high quality of the Foundation's initiatives, dedicating its support as Main Partner.
