La segretaria dell’astronauta

On Wednesday, November 16th, at 6:30 PM, The Astronaut's Secretary will be presented to the public, a remake of the outfit designed by Arnaldo Pomodoro for the Modelli – Forme – Idee collection created in 1961 by Bruna Bini based on designs by artists such as Lucio Fontana, Enrico Baj, and Lucio Del Pezzo. Deteriorated over time and irreparably destroyed, The Astronaut's Secretary was the subject of a remaking authorized by the artist to commemorate this playful encounter with the world of fashion.

The remake of the outfit was created by Gentucca Bini. The presentation event is organized in collaboration with NABA and La Rosa – Milano 1922.

On this occasion, the other pieces from the Modelli – Forme – Idee collection still preserved in the Bini Archive will also be on display. Following the presentation, there will be a free visit to the exhibition The Beginning of Time. Arnaldo Pomodoro's Spatialist Research, accompanied by a glass of wine.

The Astronaut's Secretary will remain on display until the end of the exhibition alongside The Time Machine (1960 – 145 × 150 cm), a bas-relief from which the outfit drew its extravagant form dominated by the smooth tubular element, a feature quite unusual in the artist's catalog.
