The new proposal from Fondazione Arnaldo Pomodoro for Junior High schools was made possible thanks to the support of the Fondazione Cariplo. An interactive training experience that unites students and teachers in the construction of a personal and collective story. A digital and analogue journey to discover oneself and one's memory, freely inspired by the biography of Arnaldo Pomodoro.
The project took shape through two years of co-design work, during which over 30 professionals, including teachers, cultural operators, and game designers, were involved, as well as prototyping and experimentation that saw the participation of over 300 students from 6 schools in Milan and Novara. A proposal valuable to schools because it was designed together with schools.
To learn:
to listen, observe, communicate;
to recognize and share skills and competences;
to participate and collaborate for a common goal;
to act autonomously and responsibly;
to solve problems;
to identify connections and relationships;
to acquire and interpret information;
to have greater self-awareness and know how to relate to others.
SMARTSCHOOLING it is made up of various activities that are independent of each other but which together contribute to the construction of a personal or collective archive to be created over the course of one or more school years. The activities were designed to be carried out partly digitally and partly analogically, some in the classroom and others in Arnaldo Pomodoro's studio, while others still include tours around the city, in the places where the sculptor's works are located.
