The Foundation dedicates a solo exhibition to Loris Cecchini (Milan, 1969), winner of the 3rd edition of the Arnaldo Pomodoro Prize for Sculpture.
The exhibition, curated by Marco Meneguzzo, presents a series of recent works and a new installation created specifically for the exhibition space at Via Vigevano 9.
Cecchini’s attitude is to poetically elaborate space through the deconstruction of reality at various levels, which, with the cold and sophisticated forms and materials selected by the artist, takes on composite, creative, and revealing aspects.
On the occasion of the exhibition, the third issue of the Quaderni will be published, which illustrates the works installed in the exhibition space and documents, with texts in Italian and English, the entire creative journey of Cecchini through an essay by Marco Meneguzzo, a dialogue with the artist, and a rich scientific apparatus.
