From Sunday, June 2, Republic Day, the work Disco in forma di rosa del deserto (1993-1994) by Arnaldo Pomodoro – part of the Collection of the Foundation – will be displayed in Rome in the Cortile d’onore of the Palazzo del Quirinale, as part of the Quirinale Contemporaneo project, strongly supported by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella.
The artistic heritage of the Quirinale is thus enriched with a significant addition of Italian contemporary art: 36 works by the most important artists and 32 objects, designed by Italian designers and produced by Italian companies, find a permanent place in the courtyards, halls, and gardens of the Palace that hosts the Presidency of the Republic.
