The Times They Are A-Changin’. Il concilio Vaticano II
Mostra di arte e videostoria

Palazzo Pepoli, via Castiglione 10, Bologna
October 16th 2025 - January 6th 2026

Exactly sixty years after the conclusion of the Second Vatican Council, the Foundation for Religious Sciences presents a visual and documentary exhibition on one of the most profound and transformative events in the contemporary history of the Church.

The exhibition "The Times They Are A-Changin'. Il Concilio Vaticano II. Mostra di arte e videostoria" will be open to visitors from October 16th, 2025, to January 6th, 2026, at Palazzo Pepoli, Museum of the History of Bologna, located on via Catiglione 10.

Conceived as part of the initiatives for the jubilee of 2025, the exhibition conveys the spirit of a council that succeeded in combining tradition and openness, shaping a new language of faith, for dialogue with other religions, and for engagement with modernity.
The exhibition project, the result of a collaboration between FSCIRE's Secretary Prof. Alberto Melloni, Deputy Secretary Prof. Federico Ruozzi, Fabio Nardelli, and Marta Scalabrini, offers a journey of knowledge and experience where history intertwines with the voices, images, and artistic expressions of an era of radical change.

Also on display is In Memory of J.F. Kennedy (1963–1964), on loan from the Collection of the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation.
