The writings
You may have noticed that the walls of my Labyrinth are decorated with bas-reliefs
and objects that represent what I love most: spears, wedges, wheels, and many, many raised symbols.
Do the symbols on the walls of the Labyrinth also seem
like relatives of Egyptian hieroglyphs or cuneiform writing to you?
The world of symbols is truly
rich: there is the Latin alphabet,
Chinese characters,
the Arabic alphabet, Cyrillic,
the Greek alphabet...
Did you know that the word alphabet comes from the first two Greek letters: alpha and beta.
Braille and Morse code, on the other hand, are two alphabets invented in the 19th century: do you know what they are used for?
And which alphabets do you know?
