Presentation of “Walking through the walls” by Francesco Bertelé in Arnaldo Pomodoro's Studio

Thursday, December 12, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the Foundation will present in the Studio of Arnaldo Pomodoro the video Walking through the walls by Francesco Bertelé.

Walking through the walls (40’ VR 360° ambisonic) is part of the project Hic sunt dracones by Francesco Bertelé, curated by Chiara Pirozzi and promoted by the Fondazione Made in Cloister, winner of the IV edition of the Italian Council call (2018), a competition created by the General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity and Urban Regeneration of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. After its presentation at the Mediamatic center in Amsterdam, the Foundation will host the first step of the transmedia narrative that comprises the work Hic sunt dracones, which will be presented in full in January 2020, in its final version, during the exhibition at the Museo Madre in Naples, the museum receiving the donation of the work, alongside the presentation of the artist's book as an integral part of the entire project.

The video will be presented in the evocative spaces of the Studio of Arnaldo Pomodoro and will be viewable using Oculus GO and MEZE AUDIO headphones for a collective and immersive experience. The video is accompanied by a soundtrack specially created by the musician Bienoise and an editing designed to create a physical and tangible connection between the artist, his experience, and the performance affecting the viewer.
