Starting from the current exhibition La negazione della forma. Arnaldo Pomodoro tra minimalismo e controculturawe note that Arnaldo Pomodoro has distinguished the negative and positive forms through the use of colours. We enter his laboratory to create a colorful composition by intersecting geometric shapes. With stencils, tempera and sponges we experiment with a simple but highly effective printing technique to define which shapes are positive and negative and which color to associate them with. How many incredible compositions can be created with shapes and primary colors!

Purpose
The contents and methods of approaching the activities are varied depending on the age of the participants.
Purpose for first and second grades: to investigate and understand the concept of warm/cold color and the positive/negative shape relationship
Purpose for third, fourth and fifth grades: to investigate and understand the concept of warm/cold, primary and secondary color and the positive/negative relationship. Introduction to the concept of plane and solid geometry.
