Galleria d’arte contemporanea “Vero Stoppioni”, Santa Sofia (FC)
From July 3 to September 5, the “Vero Stoppioni” Contemporary Art Gallery in Santa Sofia (FC) hosts the exhibition Arnaldo Pomodoro. Graphics, the first exhibition after the gallery's forced closure, offering a unique opportunity to admire works that summarize the key stages of the artist’s career.
The spaces of the “Vero Stoppioni” Gallery will interact with about forty works, coming from the Collection of the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation, in which references and analogies with the artist’s sculptural production can be found, along with the Rive dei mari made of fiberglass, created in 1987 for the staging of Christoph Willibald Gluck’s Alceste, directed by Virginio Puecher at the Margherita Theatre in Genoa.
The exhibition is the culmination of the events linked to the 61st edition of the Campigna Prize, which saw the installation of Arnaldo Pomodoro's Cono tronco along the banks of the Bidente, in the Sculpture Park of Santa Sofia.
